1. About Bonheur@Karambunai.
- Bonheur at Karambunai is a short-term vacation rental management company based in Kota Kinabalu. During the pandemic in 2020, Bonheur at Karambunai undertook an extensive renovation project. Our goal is to present our guests with new and unique experiences through the revitalized appearance and atmosphere of our villas. As a result, each 'Bonheur' villa boasts its own distinctiveness and charm. Currently, we manage 8 privately-owned pool villas in Karambunai.
2. What amenities do you provide? Is BBQ allowed?
- We offer a range of essential amenities for your comfort and enjoyment. These include Wi-Fi, BBQ pits, towels, fully equipped kitchenettes, Coway water filters, complimentary parking, and private pools. Barbecuing is permitted, and each villa is equipped with a BBQ pit for your use. Please remember to bring your own charcoal and fire starters.
3. How many villas do you have? How many rooms in each villa?
- Bonheur@Karambunai manages 8 pool villas, each with 2 bedrooms of different types and bed configurations.
4. What is the maximum occupancy of each villa?
- Please note that our villas are designed to comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests. We kindly request that the occupancy remain within 8 people or fewer. If you plan to have more than 4 guests, please be aware that no additional mattresses, pillows, blankets, or towels will be provided for the extra guests. Kindly inform us of the total number of guests staying in advance for a seamless experience. Our occupancy limits are in place to guarantee the safety and comfort of our valued guests.
5. Is early check-in or late check-out possible?
Check-in 15:00 hours
Access to your villa prior to check-in time is subject to availability or can be confirmed by reserving your villa one night prior to arrival.
Check-out 12:00 hours
Complimentary late check-out is subject to availability and will only be confirmed the night prior to departure.
6. Security Deposit.
A security deposit is required upon check-in to cover any incidental damages. You will not be charged unless damage is incurred. The deposit will be returned to you on the day of check-out if no damages have been incurred during your stay.
7. Special request before arrival.
If you have any special requests for your booking, such as specifying your arrival times or seeking permission to decorate the villa, we kindly ask you to reach out to us in advance. As a small, private rental company, our services may differ from those of a hotel. However, rest assured that we are dedicated to delivering the utmost quality of service and hospitality to make your stay as exceptional as possible.
8. Are parties or events permitted at the villa?
Please note that our property is not suitable for large gatherings or events to maintain a serene atmosphere. However, we gladly welcome small, intimate family gatherings/events of less than 10 guests, provided we are informed in advance.
